Cardiac Rehabilitation
The cardiac rehabilitation program at Warren Barr Gold Coast is designed to promote optimum recovery and health for guests being treated for heart disease and/or cardiac-related surgery. Our goal is to limit the physical effects of cardiac illness and improve overall health and cardiovascular fitness.
Warren Barr Gold Coast’s Cardiac Program has been designed to improve the quality of life for patients with heart, lung, and vascular disease.
Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Following hospitalization for hip or knee replacement, spine or other orthopedic surgeries, Warren Barr Gold Coast provides highly customized care and flexible schedules so you can be on the go sooner.
Our therapists work closely with guests and their physicians to create an intensive, individualized physical and occupational rehabilitation plan to meet your needs. Physiatrists, physical medicine doctors, meet regularly with our therapy team to provide consultation and discuss treatment goals.
Post-Transplant Care
Warren Barr Gold Coast provides broad and comprehensive medical and nursing care designed for optimal post-operative management* of patients after a transplant procedure to enhance successful recovery. An integrated team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians, and therapists effectively manages every aspect and continuum of post-transplant care.
This program offers unique aspects and emphasizes managing patient follow-up appointments and aftercare, timely detection of clinical complications, and more.

Penthouse Rehabilitation Complex
Our Penthouse Rehabilitation Complex is located on the 9th floor and has over 7,500 sq. ft. of exercise area, with special focus points on balance/coordination, ambulation, private stretching rooms, strength training and endurance training.
Therapy is available seven days a week with a full staff and a clinical leader on-site; therapists are staffed to cover the hours between 7:00am – 8:00pm every day. Therapy evaluations are completed within 24 hours of the patient’s admission, regardless of the day of the week. This is to ensure we can accept admissions during the weekend and ensure clinical continuity. At that time, the therapist will assess the patient and work with the patient/family to develop goals to maximize their independence.
Short Term Rehabilitation
Warren Barr Gold Coast offers its guests the highest patient to therapist ratio, one of the largest state-of-the-art rehabilitation gyms and an attentive level of personalized therapy seven days a week. On average, our intensive rehabilitation program can allow guests to return home in as little as three weeks.
Our large staff allows us to provide each guest with a highly after surgery rehabilitation therapy regimen that can help shorten recovery times and facilitate a faster return to independent living. Along with restoring strength, independence and confidence, our comprehensive and therapeutic approach is specifically designed to help our guests reduce pain, improve living skills, and enjoy greater overall functionality.
Wound Care
We utilize an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to treat chronic wounds. This multi-system approach relies on advanced treatments and therapies, including E-Stim, ultrasound, negative pressure therapies, ultraviolet therapy, and debridement. Supervised by a physician specializing in advanced wound care, all consultations are conducted onsite and care is supported by our own certified wound care nurses.
Our multi-system approach to chronic wound care takes advantage of the most advanced therapies and treatments, including but not limited to ultrasound, debridement, and negative pressure therapies. A licensed wound care specialist certified in wound care and lymphedema supervises each step in treating chronic wounds and uses procedures that promote faster and healthy healing while reducing complications.
