Short-Term Rehabilitation
Warren Barr Orland Park offers its guests one of the highest patient-to- therapist ratios, a state-of-the-art rehab gym and intensive, personalized therapy 7-days a week. Our advanced rehabilitation program can allow guests to return home in as little as 3 weeks.
Our dedicated and experienced staff allows us to provide each guest with a highly personalized therapy program that facilitates faster recovery and a faster return to independent living. Along with restoring strength, independence and confidence, our comprehensive and therapeutic approach to care is specifically designed to help our guests reduce pain, improve living skills, and increase overall comfort and mobility.
Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Following hospitalization for hip or knee replacement, spine or other orthopedic surgeries, Warren Barr Orland Park provides highly customized care and flexible schedules so you can be on the go sooner.
Our therapists work closely with guests and their physicians to create the ideal physical and occupational rehabilitation plan to meet their needs. Our physiatrists and doctors of physical medicine meet regularly with our therapy team to collaborate and discuss treatment goals.
Guests receive post-surgical nursing care with attention to wound and pain management along with the convenience of on-site clinical equipment and services.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
The cardiac rehabilitation program at Warren Barr Orland Park is designed to promote optimum recovery and health for guests being treated for heart disease and/or cardiac-related surgery. Our goal is to limit the physical effects of cardiac illness and to help improve our guests’ cardiovascular fitness and overall health.
Each of our guests receives a program designed specifically for them, supervised and implemented by a team of cardiac specialists, including physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and consulting nutritional and psychological professionals.
Post-Transplant Care
Our facility provides broad and comprehensive medical and nursing care designed for optimal post-operative management* of patients after a transplant procedure to enhance successful recovery. An integrated team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians, and therapists effectively manages every aspect and continuum of post-transplant care. This program offers unique aspects and emphasizes managing patient follow-up appointments and aftercare, timely detection of clinical complications, and more.

Wound Care
We utilize an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to treat chronic wounds. This multi-system approach relies on advanced treatments and therapies, including E-Stim, ultrasound, negative pressure therapies, ultraviolet therapy, and debridement. Supervised by a physician specializing in advanced wound care, all consultations are conducted onsite and care is supported by our own certified wound care nurses.
Pulmonary Care
The pulmonary care program at Warren Barr Orland Park is designed to help patients with complex lung disease and other chronic and progressive respiratory problems recover and better cope with their medical conditions.
Our unique, team approach to pulmonary rehabilitation is designed and tailored to optimize each guest’s independence and physical abilities, while simultaneously slowing down the progression and the debilitating symptoms of pulmonary disorders.
By combining exercise, education, breathing retraining, nutritional counseling, as well as psychosocial support, the dedicated staff at Warren Barr can successfully treat many of the most common respiratory problems.
Memory Care
Warren Barr Orland Park offers a range of services to support residents who live with the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We understand the nature of this complex condition and work to minimize its effects on the medical, physical and behavioral health of our residents. Upon arrival, an experienced and specially trained memory care team creates a customized plan of care for each resident. Family members are included in the planning, contributing knowledge on each individual’s preferred habits and interests. The goal is to increase the level of function, interaction, and engagement in the world while simultaneously providing a calm, safe and anxiety-reducing environment that supports improvement.
